Job Description

We are seeking passionate bike mechanics of all levels to help cyclists keep their bikes in top condition and support the growth of our bicycle repair and service business across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of repairs including brake adjustments, gear tuning, wheel truing, drivetrain maintenance, and suspension service.
  • Assemble new bicycles according to manufacturer guidelines ensuring safety and readiness for sale.
  • Interact with customers to assess their needs, provide recommendations, and cost estimates.
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate parts and upgrades.
  • Conduct safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Ensure all repairs meet high-quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a well-organized workshop and manage spare parts and tools.
  • Provide excellent customer service, explain repair work, answer questions, and offer maintenance advice.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in bicycle mechanics and ability to diagnose and repair various types of bikes.
  • Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic is desirable.
  • Knowledge of bicycle brands, models, and components.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety standards related to bicycle repairs.
  • Willingness to stay updated on bicycle technology and repair techniques.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Problem-solving mindset and resilience.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
