This bike is powered by a Bafang rear hub motor with 32Nm of torque, combined with a 540Wh integrated battery. This setup provides a maximum range of up to 60 miles (97 km) on a full charge, with a recharge time of approximately 6 hours. The battery, which uses high-quality Samsung cells, is removable for convenient charging and includes a key lock for added security.
The bike features a centre-mounted LCD display that allows riders to select from five power assist modes, including a walk assist mode. The display also shows real-time information such as battery level, current speed, average speed, max speed, trip distance, and trip time.
For a smooth and controlled ride, the Dawes Spire 2.0 is equipped with a Shimano Alivio 9-speed gear system and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. The bike also includes a 70mm travel suspension fork with hydraulic lockout, a Selle Royal Freeway saddle for enhanced comfort, and ergonomic lock-on grips.
