The Dawes Spire 2.0 Low Step Electric Hybrid Bike is a versatile hybrid designed to excel in daily commutes, running errands, or leisurely rides through parks and canal paths. This model builds upon the success of its predecessor, the Spire 1.0, featuring upgraded components for enhanced performance and convenience.
This bike is equipped with a powerful Bafang rear hub motor with 32Nm of torque, paired with a 540Wh integrated battery. This setup provides a maximum range of up to 60 miles (97 km) on a full charge, with a recharge time of approximately 6 hours. The battery uses high-quality Samsung cells, is removable for charging, and includes a key lock for added security.
The bike features a centre-mounted LCD display that allows riders to select from five power assist modes, including a walk assist mode. The display also shows real-time information such as battery level, current speed, average speed, max speed, trip distance, and trip time.
For a smooth and controlled ride, the Dawes Spire 2.0 is equipped with a Shimano Alivio 9-speed gear system and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. The bike also includes a 70mm travel suspension fork with hydraulic lockout, a Selle Royal Freeway saddle for enhanced comfort, and ergonomic lock-on grips.
